remembering

we are here to remember, and re-create, who we are

remember that the highest thought is always that which contains joy, the clearest words are those words that contain truth, and that the grandest feeling is that feeling which we call love.

so, if god's plan is to to become realized through our expiriences, and the grandest feeling is that which we call love... is god...love?

yes!

when we speak of love in its truest form, we are speaking of God; and when we speak of God, we are speaking of the purest love

in every corner of the world, in every sacred scripture, one truth stands above the rest: God is the embodiment of love, the purest form of the emotion that drives all creation.

Judaism:
"Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and thy neighbor as thyself."

Buddhism:
"Let a man cultivate towards the whole world a heart of Love."

Christianity:
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God, for God is Love."

Shinto:
"Love is the representative of the Lord."

Hinduism:
"One can best worship the Lord through Love."

Islam:
"Love is this, that thou shouldst account thyself very little and God very great."

Taoism:
"Heaven arms with Love those it would not see destroyed."

Confucianism:
"To love all men is the greatest benevolence."

Sikhism:
"God will regenerate those in whose hearts there is Love."

Jainism:
"The days are of most profit to him who acts in Love."

Baha'i:
"Love Me that I may love thee. If thou lovest Me not, My love can no wise reach thee.

many people believe that life is like a school... its not!... school is a place you go if there is something you do not know that you want to know.

it is not a place you go if you already know a thing and simply want to experience your knowingness.

life is an opportunity for god to expirience the realm of the relative, and an opportunity for us to experience and express aspects of divinity in relative terms.

when we have this in mind, and our heartfelt attention separates the reality of the present from the endless waterfall of our thoughts, the things we do, and the way we do them, shine in a different light...

we start to see how simple it all is...

we start to not just see, but feel how all human actions are motivated at their deepest level by one of two emotions: fear or love.

in truth there are only two emotions... only two words in the language of the soul.

these are the two points which allow the realm of relativity to be. without these two points, without these two ideas about things, no other idea could exist.

everything you think, and everything you do, is based in either love or fear.

And so it is that in the moment you pledge your highest love, you greet your greatest fear.

For the first thing you worry about after saying "I love you" is whether you'll hear it back.

And if you hear it back, then you begin immediately to worry that the love you have just found, you will lose.

and so, our inability to remember that we are here to experience and express aspects of divinity, causes our actions to become reactions--defense against loss
