By now, i hope that you have understood that “being here now”
will bring forward a type of integrity that gives us the ability to distinguish for ourselves the habits and influences in the mind which are skillful and lead to love and awareness, from those which are unskillful and reinforce our false sense of separation from both ourselves, and others.
being here now means being honest and understanding your impulses, it means having a satisfied mind that enables you to act rationally, and to accept whats beyond its control…
here, is where i ask for your full attention and cooperation;
if you ever find something thats better than being here now, embrace it without reservations (it must be an extraordinary thing indeed) and enjoy it to the full.
But... if you cant find anything thats better than the fleeting spirit of now, (the force who subordinates desires to itself, that discriminates among impressions, that has broken free of temptations, and subordinated itself to the universe, constantly attempting to create love) if you find that there's nothing more important or valuable than that, then don't make room for anything but it!!!
It would be wrong for anything to stand between you and living in the present -as a rational being and a human. Anything at all: the applause of the crowd, a cozy job, wealth, or even self-indulgence. All of these might seem to be compatible with it...for a while! sooner or later, they control us and sweep us away. So make your choice straightforwardly, once and for all, and stick to it. Choose what's best, and never fail to acknowledge the overwhelming beauty that comes from being alive!
